About This Event

November 12th is World Usability Day, and this year's theme is "Designing for a Sustainable World". NYC UPA is pleased to partner with IxDA and the School of Visual Arts to present a diverse mix of thought leaders who will speak about their experiences connecting sustainability with usable design.

Our speaker list includes:
* Peter Mullan, Director of Planning for Friends of the High Line - Keynote
* Beto Lopez, Senior Designer at IDEO
* Ted Booth, Interaction Design Lead at Smart Design
* J Grossen, Creative Director at Frog
* Debera Johnson, Academic Director of Sustainability at Pratt

…along with a number of entrepreneurs who have built successful business models around the core values of sustainability and social responsibility.
