About This Event

Building on four years of successful Topic Maps conferences in Oslo, the Norwegian Computer Society, in conjunction with OASIS, is proud to announce Topic Maps 2007, the First International Topic Maps Users Conference.

Join us for two days of tutorials, case studies, and technical discussions. Learn about how the ISO Topic Maps standard is being applied around the world to solve problems of information management, knowledge management and systems integration. Meet fellow users and talk to some of the world's leading experts.

Topic Maps 2007 is targeted towards practitioners and potential adopters of Topic Maps, in particular:

* People responsible for corporate publishing, web sites, intranets, and knowledge management;

* Commercial publishers;

* Information architects, librarians, indexers, software engineers, and project managers;

* Public sector providers of information;

* Students and teachers of library science, computer science, and information management.

Topic Maps 2007 will consist of several tracks, and presentations will be given in English.
