 f those answers are just...well, guesses. How do we make good guesses? Can 
 we make better guesses? The best designer is often the one who makes the be

 er is an interaction designer at Adaptive Path. He previously worked at Org
 anic and Datek, and has a Masters in Design, Interaction Design from Carneg
 ie Mellon University. He has worked with a wide variety of clients, from st
 artups to Fortune 100s, designing Web sites, applications and devices. Dan 
 is the author of Designing for Interaction: Creating Smart Applications and
  Clever Devices. He is on the board of directors for IxDA and is also a mem
 ber of AIGA and IDSA.
