  <full-description>Join the Usability and Accessibility for the Web International Seminar  	  

The Government of the State of Nuevo Leon and the University of Monterrey (UdeM) will be hosting the Usability and Accessibility for the Web International Seminar on July 26 and 27. There will be keynote conferences by Lou Rosenfeld and Paulo Saavedra, two of the most renowned experts in the area.

Lou Rosenfeld is recognized as the founder of information architecture, alongside Peter Morvile. He has given conferences on the use and organization of web information in every part of the workd. His book Information Architecture for the World Wide Web is the main text in the field. 

Paulo Saavedra is the author of the Chilean Guide for the Development of Government Websites, an international reference in web project management. He has been a counselor in e-government and web site development for the Chilean government and is now in charge of the Tr&#195;&#161;mite f&#195;&#161;cil website and is creating a usability testing system for online services.

We will also host a variety of tutorials on usability, accessibility, website development and plain language. Each attendee will be able to participate in two.

The event will be held in the University of Monterrey (UDEM) in Monterrey Mexico

At the end of the seminar, the Government of Nuevo Leon, Mexican states that wish to participate and renowned experts will sign the First Manifesto on Usability and Accesibility for Mexican Government Websites. This will help us establish guidelines for better citizen-oriented website development. Our objective is to build a web for everyone.</full-description>
