About This Event

Pathfinder will provide a real world example of user centered design being used in developing healthcare software. We will be presenting a case study featuring, IDM, A HAEMONETICS® Company and leader in medical software and support. The presentation will outline some of the unique challenges encountered during the project, as well as, opportunities for improvement that were identified while developing IDM's next generation of product offerings.

Pathfinder will also be leading an interactive session, designed to address one of the biggest technology issues in healthcare today. Entitled "Interacting with Software and People – At the Same Time", the session will examine ways for healthcare practitioners to communicate with people and technology, simultaneously conveying critical information electronically without sacrificing compassionate and attentive patient care. Attendees will have an opportunity to brainstorm with us and uncover new approaches to this difficult dilemma that has the potential to impact us all.
