Instructor Andrei Herasimchuk
Andrei Herasimchuk is a principal of Involution Studios, where he is responsible for the design practice of the company. Andrei spent a number of years at Adobe, where he was their first interface designer. He provided the interface strategy for the initial Creative Suite, was responsible for the design of Photoshop, Illustrator and the original InDesign, as well as for founding the internal UI team, developing it to more than 20 people.

This full-day course will teach software professionals how to lead a collaborative architecture process for software products. Participants will be taken through the entire process using hands-on exercises designed to give a deep and real-world understanding. At its conclusion this architecture process results in a shared vision of the upcoming design by all stakeholders, including those far-removed from the design team, while creating a clearly articulated starting point for the design itself.

These methods inherently involve cross-disciplinary teams, so this course is appropriate for either individuals or teams who want to participate in the architecture and design vision of software products. This approach works well for redesigns as well as new designs; for web, desktop or mobile platforms, as well as cross-platform design; and is equally relevant for consumer, B2B and enterprise applications.
