About This Event

The first and only web design conference for IT Professionals working in Higher Education. Join us and meet world renowned experts in the fields of usability, user centered design, CSS, AJAX and many others. Designers, Developers, and Project Managers will all be able to benefit from the content presented over the course of two days.

In addition to the formal presentations, you will have the opportunity to meet and interact with people building and designing web applications in all the same areas you do: Student Affairs, Faculty Issues, Administrative Procedures, and others.

Topics covered will include AJAX and Web 2.0 technologies, usability testing, CSS, Web form design, content management systems, developing secure applications, SEO, usability, and presentation skills for IT professionals.

The conference is sponsored by the University of Pennsylvania and has a focus on Web practices in higher education, but the topics covered are not especially unique to higher ed. All practitioners will get a lot out of the material.
