  particular - by adapting general cost-justification techniques to estimate
  expected return on investment (ROI) for usability initiatives. This techni
 que can be used to solicit funding. Cost-justification is discussed across 
 a wide variety of contexts\, including both commercial and internal traditi
 onal business applications\, public web sites\, intranets\, and web-based a
 pplications.
