\nThe Government of the State of Nuevo Leon and the Univers
 ity of Monterrey (UdeM) will be hosting the Usability and Accessibility for
  the Web International Seminar on July 26 and 27. There will be keynote con
 ferences by Lou Rosenfeld and Paulo Saavedra, two of the most renowned expe
 rts in the area.

\nLou Rosenfeld is recognized as the founder of informa
 tion architecture, alongside Peter Morvile. He has given conferences on the
  use and organization of web information in every part of the workd. His bo
 ok Information Architecture for the World Wide Web is the main text in the 
 field. 
\n
\nPaulo Saavedra is the author of the Chilean Guide for the Deve
 lopment of Government Websites, an international reference in web project m
 anagement. He has been a counselor in e-government and web site development
  for the Chilean government and is now in charge of the Trámite fácil web
 site and is creating a usability testing system for online services.

\nW
 e will also host a variety of tutorials on usability, accessibility, websit
 e development and plain language. Each attendee will be able to participate
  in two.

\nThe event will be held in the University of Monterrey (UDEM) 
 in Monterrey Mexico
\n
\nAt the end of the seminar, the Government of Nuevo
  Leon, Mexican states that wish to participate and renowned experts will si
 gn the First Manifesto on Usability and Accesibility for Mexican Government
  Websites. This will help us establish guidelines for better citizen-orient
 ed website development. Our objective is to build a web for everyone.

 he Web on November, 5, 6 and 7, 2008. There will be keynote conferences by 
 Jesse James Garrett (Adaptive Path) and Jose Manuel Alonso (W3C), two of th
 e most renowned experts in the area.

\nThis seminar will provide a forum
  for exchanging experiences in web usability and accessibility. It will all
 ow us to gain a common ground and set common objectives.
