About the Speaker Ron McNamara has specialized in creating user friendly applications in the complex environments of the biotechnology and pharmaceutical fields for the past seven years. He is a CUA (Certified Usability Analyst), has a doctorate in chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Masters in Information Systems from Drexel University. He was a scientific and medical researcher before migrating to an IT career in 1998. One of his areas of expertise is using prototyping tools to elicit requirements and design user interfaces. He currently works at GlaxoSmithKline as a project manager and business analyst supporting research and clinical scientists.
